What is time? Time can be now, before or after . People love, hate, feel, watch and control time. Time is used in most everything you can think of. If I could go back in time I would change 9/11, discrimation, and the war in Iraq because those events changed the course of history in a negative way.
September 11,2001 the day that shocked the USA, showed ameracians hhow much they need come together as a country. The wake up call to America. The twin towers a sign of great accomplishment now sits in their own shadows showing how much damage terrorist can cause. People still wait by the phone sometimes not realizing how long it’s been. Sorrow filled the air as people honored the firefighters, policeman and millions of people that died in the terrorist attacks. 9/11 struck the hearts of Americans and shocked the whole world. The world may have had more people and less sorrow without 9/11.
Discrimination, a horrible thing, was both fought with and argued against. Many African Americans fought to demolish discrimination. His words still echo in history, “I have a dream”, though many white people did not listen to king, African Americans did. Motivating them to contribute and fight against discrimination.
People say that all men are created equal but many white men thought that it just meant whites but it mean s everybody know matter what color, sex, hair color, eye color, shape and sizes we are all equal know matter how different we are.
The war in Iraq was to go stop and find terrorist but it became much more than that. Thousands even millions of solider shave died, held hostage and captured. Those who have died defending our country left family behind. Weather it was a wife and kids to a mother, father, brothers, sisters and est. Every day the people that have family in Iraq pray and hope that will come back soon and safe. Why would we stay in there if we were losing so many soldiers? Well a war is a war; once you’re in your not coming out, know matter how many casualties, Intel some someone wins. Who knows how long it will be Intel someone wins.
Discrimination and the war in Iraq have effected Americans in varies ways. 911put things into perspective, making people notices things that should have been noticed years ago. History makes a mark on everyone. Its just depends on weather it’s a scar or a scratch.
