Equal Rights

How would it feel to be treated unfairly? Being treated unfairly can hurt many people physically and mentally. You can fell guilt of hurt from being treated badly. Bring treated cruelly is bad from every point of view. If I could go back in the past and change anything I would change civil rights, woman’s rights, and children’s rights because, being sold for money is unfair, working for little pay is mean, and kids don’t get to be kids.

“Hi master an mam.” How come some people have to act like others are better than them and call them by their titles? Working out in the fields from sun up to sundown is an awful barefoot kind of life. On my trip to the past I would abolish slavery because it would help whites learn about the African American culture. The white masters would also find out interesting parts to what African Americans are like. Slavery had to go because it was a selfish way to live on the whites part.

Hot and congested where you only get two 30-minute breaks all day. Getting paid miniscule amounts for intensive labor, hardly seems fair, well this is what poor unmarried women had to do. They worked just as hard as men and did not get a dime of respect. Women didn’t have the pleasure of voting or voicing their opinion. This way of life just wasn’t working. I would change this because we should always have gender equality would let women vote, carry out any job they please, and make as much money as a man.

Most kids go to school then play the rest of the day. Imagine going to school then getting ready for work. This was a way of life for many unfortunate children. When I go back in time this will be one thing that I stop. Kids should be kids and not do jobs made for adults. If kids act like kids they will grow into better adults fit to do the jobs they are forced to do now. This new generation will be more responsible because they learned those traits as kids not as adults.

If we change these things earlier kids wouldn’t have any problems with being prejudice now. When I go back in time I would change Civil Rights, Women’s Rights, and Children’s rights because you can’t put a price tag on people, working all day is hard, and if you don’t have a childhood then you won’t be the best adult you can be. Our constitution says every man is created equal it doesn’t say all men are created equal except women, children, and African Americans.
