Get Caught?

Core 3
Get Caught?

Doing bad things are exciting. Except when you get caught. By exciting, I mean everyone wants to be a rebel sometimes, even if it’s just a small thing. Getting caught doing something your not supposed to is bad and annoying because now you have to give a lame excuse to why you were doing the bad thing, after that your probably going to get grounded, and you wanted your parents to never find out but somehow they did anyways.
Most of the bad things we do are sudden, so sudden sometimes that we think of the lamest excuse we have. For instance, you realize that you have forgot your homework, first thing you say when your teacher asks you where you it is, and “My dog ate it.” Come on people! Parent and adults are getting smarter, so we should get smarter also. We are from the modern world, adults are not. They don’t have the knowledge that we have. Always have a good excuse, because you never know when you’re going to need one.
Now, if you’re thinking to yourself, “Why do I need a good excuse?” I have the answer. Always have a good excuse or you will have grounded written all over you. We all know what that it’s no fun getting grounded. Even the word grounded makes me irritated. I think that word was specifically made up for troublemakers. My definition of grounded is stuck, can’t go anywhere, glued where you stand. Don’t get in a sticky situation.
What annoys me most of all about getting caught is you thought you were so sneaky, but somehow your parents found out anyway. It’s like they really do have eyes all over their head. Te question is, how do we get around those eyes. Do they hire someone to follow us wherever we go? This is a problem to the teenage society! How can we go out and explore the world if parents are watching us all the time? If you’re so worried about your kid, call them on their cell phone. If they don’t have a cell phone, get them one!
This is why teenagers drift from their parents, because they are always on our back. We can handle ourselves. We are big girls and boys. There is no need, I repeat, no need for all the uber protection stuff. We will talk when we want, don’t try and force it out of us, because that would be bad. Think about the modern world, and ask yourself, “Is this really necessary?”
