Why did the Red Sox trade the Babe?

“The Bambino Curse,” has been going on since just last last year when The Red Sox won the 2004 World Series. The curse started in 1918 when Babe Ruth was traded to The New York Yankees. He cursed The Red Sox for almost 100 years. I would go back in time and keep the Red Sox from trading Babe Ruth to the Yankees because, there would be no “curse” and the Red Sox would win more World Series’, they would also be the best team for years to come, and more people would like the Red Sox instead of the Yankees.

The curse started in 1918 when The Red Sox traded Babe Ruth to The Yankees. Since then the Yankees have won over thirty World Series’ the Red Sox Have won zero. If the Red Sox had kept the Babe They probably would have won more Series’, there would be no curse, and the Yankees would stink.

The Red Sox would have many winning seasons to come. If Babe stayed on their team for a few more years they probably would have won at least twenty more World Series’ because they would have the Babe. He would probably retire after playing a few more years, so the Reed sox would win a few more with him.

The Red Sox are the best team ever but if they would have kept Babe Ruth they would be the best team in the world and everyone would love them.

I believe that your essay was for the most part a well supported, thought out piece of writing. Although, you could have written more in your body and your conclusion. I did, however learn more about this so called curse upon the Red Sox.
