Everything Happens for a Reason

Everything that happens to you, or me, or anyone at that, happens for a reason. Many people wish to go back and change what happened to them. But if they do, then they not only change there past, but their present, and their future. “Everything happens for a reason” in my eyes, is a true statement, because what happens to you is your fate, if it didn’t happen, then your life wouldn’t be the same, and what happens to you makes you smarter and stronger.

“Everything happens for a reason” is a statement that I believe in, because what happens to you is your destiny. If you die, then you were destined to die, if you trip, then it was your fate to trip. Your fate makes you who you are. Sure, sometimes you wish you could change your past, a lot of people do. But did you ever think about what would happen if you did change your past?

Which brings me to my next point. Changing something, will change something else, which will change something else. For example if you’re a runner and you fall, then break your leg, then you cant run for awhile, and when you get the cast off, then you’ll probably wont run the same again. In result, it transforms who you are today. So, what if you like who you are today? What if you don’t want to change you today, but change what you did in the past? If this sounds like your case, then my advice to you, don’t change your past, your past is in your past.

You may be asking yourself “okay, okay, she keeps saying that everything happens for a REASON, but what is that reason exactly?” well, a lot of times you may never know, but sometimes you do. It could be because it made you stronger. When you get hurt, it may well, hurt! But it makes you stronger, so that maybe next time you get hurt, it will hurt less then the first time. It may also be because it makes you smarter. If you get in trouble for breaking a glass, then next time you will know to be more careful.

Excepting what you did in the past can be hard. But there are reasons it happened to you. Sometimes they’re bad. But a lot of times they’re good. So just keep your head high. In the mean time, think about what I said in this essay, it might just, well, change you. But for a reason of course!
