Sports Baby, Sports

Sports

“And he hits the buzzer beater to win the game!”. All sports can be fun and enjoyable to aggressive and competitive. Sports can introduce you to people that you never knew before. Playing sports can help you be active and stay in-shape while having fun. Sports should be a part of your life because, they help you stay in-shape, they teach you how to play with and without a team and last, sports can keep you away from drugs, alcohol, smoking, and just bad people.
Staying in shape should be a large part of your life. In doing this, sports can be your answer. Many people die from being obese or having heart failure because they don’t stay in-shape. Weight lifting, basketball, and swimming are just a few ways to keep your body active. Running up and down the court in a basketball game can help keep you fit. Weight lifting strengthens your muscles so you can do harder work. And last, swimming works all your muscles and improves your endurance. This is one reason sports should be a part of everyone’s life.
Sports can teach you how to play with and without a team. In sports like basketball, football, and lacrosse, you have to learn to play with teammates. These factors consist of passing, blocking, and playing defense for your team. The term, “taking one for the team” also comes in here, like diving for a loose ball and taking a risk of hurting your body. On the other hand, golf and wresting are a one-man sport. These can be harder but more rewarding. They’re harder because you have no teammates to help you out, but if you do win the game or match, it was all up to you. These are some ways sports teach you how to play with and without a team.
Many sports may relieve some temptations of drugs, smoking and alcohol. They can give teens a pastime so they aren’t around drugs and alcohol. If they’re at sports activities, then they’re not around drug dealers and people who smoke. Most athletes also know not to do those bad things. They won’t do them because they’ll either get kicked off the team, or they will hurt their bodies. Smoking can damage your lungs so it’s harder to breathe, and drugs and alcohol can affect your mind so you don’t remember what to do in the games. Sports should be in everyone’s life just for this reason alone.
In conclusion, sports are good in many aspects. They help you to stay in-shape, teach you how to play with and without a team, and last, they help teens stay away from drugs and alcohol. These are just a few reasons why sports should be a main part of your life.
