Have you ever felt the silence of the crowd quicken the beat of your heart, the sound of the ball hitting the top of the net trickle sweat down your face, and then you have the feeling of confusion as to which way the ball is going to go? Then, with your eyes closed, you here the ball hit the floor and the crowd goes wild! You had tried to make a spectacular save to put the ball over the net to your opponent’s side! It worked! You won! Do you want to experience that feeling? Well, now you can! Playing sports will give you that feeling! You will be able to meet new people, develop excellent social skills, and even get a chance to travel for games! You won’t have to eat as many vegetables because you stay fit/in shape while doing sports! If you don’t do sports, you will be considered a couch potato… but sports can turn that habit around! By the time practice is over, you’ll have had so much fun, you don’t want to leave! Sports can cure your disease of inactivity! Sports will help your life because it’s easy to develop better teamwork, you can develop better social skills, and it keeps you strong and healthy!
Sports are so beneficial because you develop teamwork! You need to learn how to control your temper, if you want to succeed in life. Playing the game of sports will erase the memories of seeing the counselor day and night. You will learn in a better form to communicate with others. When you get angry, you run outside and scream! Once you practice, you’ll be able to handle defeat, other players, and opponents. It’s a great way to develop anger control, too. If you need to work on teamwork, or anger, sports would be the best way to do it!
Are you a nerd? Do you need friends? Do you wish your life were a little bit better than it currently is now? Why? You don’t have very many friends, do you? Well, that’s all about to change, because of sports! By playing sports you don’t have to wear certain clothes to impress someone, or start talking funny to be liked. No. You have a chance to show off your true skills. Your sport skills! You will become involved with the game, and you will try your best! First, you’ll meet the players, get to know them, play with them, and, eventually, you’ll learn to cooperate with them. You will all be interested in the same things, so you’ll have something to talk about! You will soon be the hit of the team, and everyone will know your name! Sure, you’ll be a bit shy at first, but once you take a stand, and introduce yourself, you will become the team leader, and everyone will want to be your friend. Does that sound like the kind of life you want? Well, you have a chance at that if you try sports!
Sports… fun… exciting…strong… wait, that doesn’t sound right! Oh… they keep YOU strong! Sports will lower your blood pressure, even if you don’t even know what that is! You will finally have a reason for your parents to get you Gatorade! You will stay nice, and hydrated! Picture yourself, a winner, your name up in lights, the women, or men, admiring you, crushing on you! You’re hot, and strong! Everyone envy’s you because of your muscles, while at the same time, they think you are their role model! I mean, how many people will turn that dream down? Sports will support that dream all the way to the top!!
Sports are definitely a great part of life because: They keep you strong and fit, they help you develop teamwork, and you have a chance to learn better social skills! It’s obvious how meaningful sports are, and I don’t know what we would do without them!!!!!!
